ForCar - Forecasting System for Automotive Industry
The ForCar system from BDW Automotive provides planers throughout all sectors of the automotive business with a computer based system to facilitate detailed market forecasts and to develop individual planning models.
ForCar is an explicative forecasting system. All influenceing factors - including customer-specific data are taken into account. It is also possible to combine additional database and simulate planning results.
On the basis of new vehicle registrations, change of ownership or parc data, forecasts for individual countries are provided using the ForCar System of BDW Automotive. Level of detail in the ForCar System includes manufacturers, models, body type as standard as standard.
ForCar allows to customise and expand, e.g.explicative forecasts for fuel type, marketing data (price, promotion) and integration of customised model segmentation.
The ForCar service of BDW Automotive includes monthly updates of macroeconomic factors, historical values and monthly forecasts usually 5 years in advance for many markets (Belgium, Germany, France, Italy, Netherlands, Japan, Austria, Switzerland, Spain, UK, USA.).
The information system ForMod, with model policy and launch dates of the manufacturers is a integrated component of the ForCar System, but it can also be ordered seperately.
